The Punjab government has officially revealed the payment structure for the CM Punjab E-Taxi Scheme 2025, led by Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif. Under the announced plan, applicants will be required to make an initial down payment ranging from Rs. 200,000 to Rs. 250,000, depending on the type of vehicle selected. The balance will then be paid in easy monthly installments of Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 25,000, spread over a period of five to six years.

To provide further relief, the Punjab government will subsidize between 30% to 50% of the total vehicle price and also bear the interest charges on bank financing. For vehicles priced between Rs. 4 million and Rs. 10 million,as part of the down payment support the provincial government will contribute Rs. 585,000.
